Bombardier have appointed a new General Manager, Paul Thompson. Paul brings close to 25 years of experience and is no stranger to the Bombardier family, having previously worked for the company for 20 years. Paul was most recently Director of Maintenance at Flybe/Virgin Connect where he was responsible for the team that maintained the fleet of 66 commercial aircraft, including the Q400, E195 and E175 models.

As he returns to the business, Paul will steward Bombardier’s key expansion here at London Biggin Hill Airport and develop the new facility, comprising a 250,000 sq ft state-of-the-art hangar and 650,000 sq ft of apron area, as part of their growing customer service footprint in Europe.
